Calibration and validation of InfoCrop model for phenology, LAI, dry matter and yield of wheat

Present experiment was conducted (2015-16 and 2016-17) comprising different levels of water stress environmental conditions for the model parametrization validation Info Crop-wheat v2.1 model. The calibrated validated popular wheat variety HD-2967 under semi-arid conditions. important genetic coefficients were generated fine-tuned simulating phenology, leaf area index (LAI), dry matter yield crop. result showed that simulated phenology in terms days to 50% anthesis physiological maturity very accurately with root mean squared error 2.26 1.36 days, respectively. could also able simulate temporal course LAI biomass satisfactorily. errors final within acceptable limit 10%. We conclude InfoCrop is reasonably suitable developmental stages, expansion, crop environment hence it can be utilized undertaking various management applications.
